Condado

Beach-front hotel corridor along Ashford Avenue with the city’s densest fine-dining and the most walkable JRCM-dispensary access.

Condado is the high-end beach corridor on the north side of San Juan, anchored by Ashford Avenue's hotel-and-restaurant strip. La Concha, the Condado Vanderbilt, the Marriott Stellaris, and a half-dozen smaller boutique properties cluster along the beach; 1919, Mario Pagán, and the Latin-and-Spanish fine-dining circuit anchor the food layer. Condado Beach itself runs swimmable but rougher than Isla Verde east. For visiting adults 21+ on a JRCM temporary patient registration, Condado has the densest walkable cannabis-retail access in the city — multiple licensed dispensaries within a few blocks of the main hotels. The pattern most cannabis-aware visitors use: confirm hotel cannabis policy in writing first (most are restrictive on indoor consumption), pick edibles or vape carts that fit a hotel-stay rhythm, beach during the day, dinner on Ashford or one of the side streets, and back to the room.
