I’m trying to figure out the exact type of cheese—whether it’s cheddar cheese sauce, queso de papa, nacho cheese, mozzarella blend, or something else. It has that smooth, creamy, slightly salty texture and tastes different from regular nacho cheese.

I used to eat this all the time as a kid—I’m Chinese, but I grew up in Puerto Rico when I was younger, and this was one of those comfort foods I still think about. I’ve been trying to recreate that exact flavor and haven’t been able to find anything quite like it.

If anyone has worked there or knows the recipe/style they use, I’d really appreciate it!

submitted by /u/WideBreakfast8668
[link] [comments]
